Bought two would recommend this to everyone, Why buy the most expensive when this works just as great if not better. No complaints if I can connect this to my phone and my wifes to her's then anyone can.Great price to.
buy other. threw away.
horribly low sound in ear, outgoing is ok. Terrible bluetooth.
Bought second 1, it was dead from start. floppy on ear, limited functionality, fair battery life.
Some issues syncing. I cut the back off the old 1 to hear better, it helped but not worht it.
The only pros are that you can replace the AAA battery anywhere in the world easily; it has a pretty good range with new battery, easily 20 ft.
This was a very basic blue tooth. It was bigger than I am used to, but it did not give me a headache like some of the others. I am pleased with this device.
Won't work on either. I bought this item some time ago and am just now reviewing it. Motorola upgraded me to the HS820 and it doesn't work either. I returned it for an exchange because I couldn't hear the other party and because everyone I called complained they couldn't hear me -- just their own voice echoing back at them. I tried this on my old Lg and now my new LG-VX8300. Verizon says my phone if fine. Guess I'm not destined to be a BlueTooth user.
I've had this headset for about a year and a half, and am fairly familiar with its workings. It's also bigger than your average headset, which is to be expected because it's got a AAA battery in there. I find that the battery lasts with two weeks worth of normal usage (almost all of it in the car with a longer than average commute). The big issue that I have found is that it doesn't always stay connected to my phone. I use a rechargeable battery which takes a half hour to charge whenever the battery dies, and usually carry a spare with me in the car just in case. I don't know if this is a function of my phone, or the headset, but it's something to keep in mind. So from a convenience standpoint, can't be beat.Sound quality is good, but not great. First of all, the reason I purchased this particular headset is because all I have to do is swap out a AAA battery. Battery life is good.
I rarely have issues hearing anybody on the other end, and most people can hear me quite clearly. You have to be cautious about having the volume up too loud though, or the other person will hear an echo. I often have to hit one of the buttons to make sure my phone and the headset are properly communicating. On the whole, I'm happy with the product, but I also see room for improvement with regards to range (don't get any more than 10 feet from it) and the ability to hold a connection with my phone.
